The twins. Sharon and Karen's mom Hazel and my mom Pauline were in the delivery room together for our births. They later worked many years together at the phone company.

We played a lot together when we were kids. I can remember lots of silly things we did. I know that Karen and her family and all of Sharon's kids and their families still miss Sharon.

Karen Enyart (Zettler)

She is still my twin sister and I miss here terribly. There was nothing that we couldnt share with each other. When she died, I felt cut in half, a part of me was gone. That lasted for 2 years. All of our family miss her loyalty, laughter, kindness, friendship; just being with her was a treat.

I  come home to California to visit with family, to see resemblances of Sharon  in her children. I'm amazed to see her smile, her love of life in them. I see her strength in them and loyalty of family. All of my sis's  kids tell me that they need to see me, too . Some of my children have been fortunate to travel to Santa Maria to see their cousins also.

Sharon was licensed as a CNA, and worked with many older people who needed care. She loved them and they loved her.

She worked in the bowling alley in Orcutt in food service for awhile; helped to train the teenagers who wanted to work there. That was challenging if their work ethic was poor.

She taught CCD at St. Louis De Montfort Church, so happy to teach the children. She was a faithful member of that parish.

So many friends whose lives were touched in some way by Sharon, attended the funeral service that  the church was packed.  What a loss to us but a gain of heaven to her.
