What is there not to say about my good friend,Milo. He and I grew up together in my beloved Guadalupe. We went to grammar school together and participated in all the sports. But, as in any sport, there have to be exceptional athletes, and Milo was one of those exceptional athletes. After a good athletic career at high school, He went to Hancock and led the Bulldogs to an undefeated season. I lost track of Milo when he went off to San Diego State to play football, but whenever he came back to Guadalupe, he would always call to let me know he was in town. We would get together at the Far Western Tavern with all the guys and talk and remember the good times we had. I miss my good friend Milo.
