I knew him as "Dickey". He sat behind me in Mr. Johnson's English class. He had the neatest printing! He was smart and a sweet guy. My parents had a dinner party for several of us before the May Queen dance and the next day, Dickey brought over a LUG of the most amazing strawberries from his family ranch. Ever since, when we had strawberries, we always compared them to the ones Dickey brought. He attended the one class reunion I missed. I was so disappointed not to have seen him.
