I will never forget Mary Ann at our last reunion. She was so ill and in a wheelchair, but smiling and radiant. She seemed to be having such a great time. She told me that if she could be there in a wheelchair, other people (who weren't) could sure be there, too! She was gone not too long after that, but her bright spirit will stay with me.
