Anna came to Guadalupe in 1946 at the age of five. She was married to Paul “real” Lopez for forty-eight years. She had two children and three grandchildren. For thirty-three years, Anna worked as an Instructional Assistant and translator at Mary Buren Elementary School Resource Program in Guadalupe for Santa Barbara County. She was a bilingual assistant for the Special Education Department. She enjoyed teaching and working with children, making a difference in their lives. Anna was a loving and very protective mother and wife. Since their move to Santa Maria in 1972, she has been a devoted Catholic at St. Mary’s Catholic Parish. Anna is survived by numerous family members.
