John, 62, of Santa Maria passed away unexpectedly. He was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and raised in King City. He moved to Santa Maria in 1959. He completed a four year electrical apprenticeship program and worked as an electrician for over forty years, the past eight with Spaceport System International. He married his wife Cindy in 1972. He attended Santa Maria Foursquare Church for 30 years and was a member of shouts of Grace Church in Pismo Beach. He is survived by his wife Cindy, his mother, seven children and 16 grandchildren.
