I will always remember Marjie's smile and laugh.  I miss the special "catching up" lunches the three of us (Marjie, Barbara & me) frequently had.

I have special memories of Marjorie and the small group of girls our age in church; the classes, road shows, dances and girls camp. Then high school happened and differents paths were chosen but the memories remain~ I was saddened to hear of her health struggles and passing. I know she is missed terribly.

I knew Marjorie when I lived in Orcutt. I considered her a good friend. She was in our Camp Fire Girs' group with Marceline Eggleston as our leader. I also remembger visiting her at her house in Orcutt when I was old enough to be allowed to leave my street. I thought it must be wonderful to have so many brothers and sisters and also to have cousins in the same town. We had good times at Camp Talaki and at our meetings. We even got to ride the bus to get to the Eggleston's house for our meetings.

It is with great difficulty that I write about Marjorie's illnesses and passing.  We had been close friends and spoke often on the phone or in person no matter where we lived during the years since our graduation from Santa Maria High School.  She was a wonderful person who didn't seem to have a bad word to say about any people.  Marjorie was always ready to go to lunch and get together.  She loved laughing, her family, the beach, her friends, her sisters, her cousins, studying earthquakes, volcanos, and was a shoulder to lean on when one was needed.  I think of her often and still want to grab the phone to call her.  She is missed by so many people and her family.  My friend is gone!
