What a beautiful person - inside and out!! I so enjoyed her friendship growing up and in school. She was always positive and willing to help. She will be surely missed by all who new her.
Darlene was such a lovely person. I haven't seen her since "the gals of '60" stopped having our monthly lunch gatherings. My condolences to her family. She will be missed by many...
I have to let everyone know that my friend Darlene was colorblind. But not in the sense of a vision defect, I mean in a big heart way. I met Darlene in the first grade at Guadalupe grammar school. She was the type of person that made friends with everyone, no matter your skin color, gender or rich or poor. Darlene was a wonderful person and became one of my childhood friends. She was shy, but always welcomed everyone and talk to everyone. Her family should be very proud of Darlene, because she not only was probably a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, but a wonderful person, classmate, and wonderful friend! We will all miss her!
Darlene was always kind, a pleasure to know in school. I listened and saw Mass celebrated at St.Elizabeth Seton Church celebrating her life! The church was full! She was loved by her family & so many others. What a legacy to leave behind- a life well lived! May she Rest In Peace and May her family be consoled!
